Terms of Service
Last updated August 1, 2026
These terms cover your use of the PillBell mobile app, developed by Hostspica ("we," "us"). By installing or using PillBell, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. What PillBell is — and isn't
PillBell is a medicine reminder tool. It helps you or someone you care for remember to take medicine on schedule, and keeps a local record of what was taken, skipped, or missed.
PillBell is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, or verify dosages, drug interactions, or medical suitability. Always follow the guidance of a licensed doctor or pharmacist for anything related to a medicine itself.
Reminders depend on your phone staying on, notification permissions staying granted, and your device's own alarm system working correctly. We do our best to make delivery reliable, but we cannot guarantee a reminder will always arrive — PillBell is an aid, not a substitute for personal or caregiver attention.
2. Your account
PillBell's core features need no account or sign-up. Signing in with Google is only required if you choose to turn on the optional Google Drive backup feature, described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Your data
Everything you enter is stored on your device. You're responsible for it: uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes it permanently, and we have no copy to recover it from unless you turned on Drive backup yourself. See Delete your data for details.
4. Acceptable use
Use PillBell only for its intended purpose — tracking medicine schedules for yourself or someone you're caring for, with their knowledge and consent. Don't try to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app's normal operation, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.
5. No warranty
PillBell is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hostspica is not liable for any missed dose, health outcome, data loss, or other damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, PillBell. This includes situations caused by device settings, OS-level restrictions, notification permissions being revoked, or the device being off or out of battery.
7. Changes to the app or these terms
We may update PillBell's features or these terms over time. If a change to these terms is significant, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
