Delete your data

The short version: PillBell has no PillBell-hosted account, so there's nothing on our end to delete — your data only ever exists in two places: your device, and (only if you turned it on) your own Google Drive. Both are yours to clear directly, no request to us required.

1. Data stored on your device

This is every medicine, schedule, dose log, photo, and setting in the app. It never leaves your phone unless Drive backup (below) is turned on.

To delete it:

  1. Uninstall the PillBell app — this removes everything immediately, or
  2. Without uninstalling: open your device's Settings → Apps → PillBell → Storage, then tap Clear storage (or Clear data, wording varies by Android version).

Either way, deletion is immediate, complete, and cannot be undone from within the app.

2. Optional Google Drive backup

If you turned on Cloud backup in PillBell's Settings, an encrypted copy of your data was saved to a private folder in your own Google Drive.

To delete it:

  1. Open PillBell → Settings → Backup & Restore → tap Sign out to stop any future backups.
  2. Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, find PillBell in the list, and remove its access.

When you remove PillBell's access this way, Google automatically deletes the app's private backup data along with it — there's no separate copy for us to hold, because we never had one to begin with.
