Offline Medicine Reminder App

PillBell

Never miss a dose. Even without the internet.

PillBell is a free Android app that reminds you to take your medicine on time, and lets a family caregiver check whether each dose was taken. It rings at the right time, every time — even with no internet connection. No account to lose, no ads, no server holding your family's health data.

The rhythm behind every dose

How PillBell rings

01

Rings gently, right on time

Delivered with the same strength as your phone's own alarm clock — not a notification that's easy to miss between messages.

02

If it's missed, it rings again — louder

A short escalation follows, the same way a real alarm clock would keep going until someone answers it.

03

Nothing leaves the device, unless you choose to

Every dose and every log stays local. Google Drive backup is optional, encrypted, and off by default.

One app, two people

Built for both sides of caring for someone

For the person taking it

"Papa, it's time for your blood pressure medicine."

  • Large text and high contrast, easy to read at a glance
  • Spoken aloud, using their own name
  • One tap to say Taken, Skip, or Snooze

For the person who worries

A quiet record of what actually happened

  • See what was taken, skipped, or missed — and when
  • A caregiver PIN keeps the schedule from being changed by accident
  • Works fully offline — no shared account, nothing to sync

Your data, plainly

PillBell has no servers.

There's nothing to breach, because there's nothing to store beyond what's already on your phone. The only way anything ever leaves your device is if you turn on Google Drive backup yourself — and even then, it's encrypted before it leaves, and Google never shares it with us, because there's no "us" on the other end to share it with.
